Urban regeneration – “extraordinary Maintenance stadio Helvia Recina” Funded by the european Union Next Generation Eu
The offer of improved relative to the renovations of the general and extraordinary maintenance of the Stadio Helvia Recina Macerata (Italy) has shown the technical and technological solutions aimed at the improvement of the quality level of the Complex is the object of intervention, and to meeting the security requirements and features which are dictated by current regulations. The proposals have taken into account the prerogative to increase the accessibility and efficiency of internal space, external and playing fields, drawing on the principles of Universal Design and pursuing a full inclusion in the world of sport for people with different abilities – physical, sensory and intellectual -. The intention of the project was to redevelop the entire sports facility, and, above all, to make it accessible to a greater number and more diverse set of users (athletes, fans, staff, volunteers, women, and children, etc) and functional to the realization of events and group events of various kinds, by increasing the supply of services and activities.
In order to develop and characterize a newly renovated space of the aggregation, in the formulation of proposals for improvement, we proceeded to the preparation of an architectural project, the systematic of the internal areas of the grandstand. The colors, inspired by the colors of the local sports team, together with the selection of technologies and innovative materials, have enabled the creation of a new space to be modified so that coexist informed design choices that combine the requirements of accessibility and inclusivity.
It is considered appropriate to pay particular attention to the characteristics of materials and components, offers, not only in view to increase the security and usability of the spaces, but also in virtue of an extension of the life-cycle of the same, and a reduction of maintenance time and costs associated with it. The result will be a Work of restoration and performance from the point of view of architectural and functional, plant engineering, environmental and economic.
The proposed improvements are focused on the following areas of intervention:
– area game area and a destination to the field;
– area steps;
– area curve of north-new locker rooms;
– area covered grandstand;
- external areas;
– area tunnel;
– accessibility and removal of architectural barriers.
In order to ensure the optimization of energy-plant of the sports complex, were designed innovative and sustainable solutions – in line with current legislation and with the principles of bio-architecture – designed to contribute to the reduction of the sale and of the energy costs of the complex, with particular attention to the improvement of internal comfort, and to ensure a lower impact on the environment and climate of the work.
