The adaptation, improvement and safety of the football field and the system sports Cerro al Volturno
The project of redevelopment and transformation of the Municipal Sports Centre of Cerro al Volturno, was born from the aim of relaunching the basic services of the community, the ones for sports and tourism. The project is designed to achieve the improvement, expansion, and enhancement of sports through an architectural intervention on the landscape, giving rise to a large Sports Park, a place for meeting, socializing and aggregation. The project involved the redevelopment of the existing fields and are made of a new football field in five and a bowling green. Has been improved, and the whole area by means of the arrangement of the green, of the routes, equipment, and systems, in the perspective of increasing the energy efficiency.
The construction of the plants was estimated with the use of materials that conform to those prescribed by the regulations, in order to ensure the approval and the proper conduct of competitive activity in the presence of the public. The current football field was so conformed to the standards set by the FIGC, necessary for obtaining of the approval to the carrying out of competitions, championships semiprofessionistici.
The space of regulations has been bordered with a new metal fence height 4 m on the side adjacent to the grandstand and a height of 6 m on the other, while the ground game has been made with a synthetic turf of the last generation, composed of filaments with high biomechanical properties and laid on a package substrate, in accordance with the “Regulation LND standard” of the FIGC. The new football field in five has been built from scratch next to the football field to 11 restored as described above. It has the dimensions 20 m x 40 m and was equipped with a lighting system in order to ensure the use of the structure, even in the night hours. The fund, which is made of synthetic turf, was installed on a suitable screed of sand, allowing you to take advantage of the system during the winter period, and ensuring the best performance of the game even in the event of adverse weather conditions. The project also provided for the creation of a reinforced concrete structure in the steps that allows you to either contain the embankment of the football field is working as a tribune of the same football field. Inside the sports complex was finally built a dining area that hosts both the athletes and all those who want to spend free time in the centre.
