The intervention of the sports facility of Contigliano is part of a broader strategy of development of the territory which is implemented by the local administration. Following an in-depth study of innovative solutions applied to the entire sports complex, particular attention has been given to upgrading the energy efficiency and the functional of the locker room.
The project involved the demolition of the existing building and its reconstruction with tompagni brick, slabs, clay and cement-based system and a coat. The technologies implemented, zero-emission, as well as meet the needs of heating and domestic hot water production, helping to reduce the CO2 in the environment.
With the improvement of the sports facility you wanted to contribute to the enhancement of an area affected, like all small towns, by the phenomenon of depopulation, to improve the provision of services and to define a strong sign of urban and architectural, eliminating the effects of years of neglect and a progressive deterioration of structures and open spaces.
The regeneration project, provided funding in the context of the Ban on Sports and Suburbs 2023, in summary:
– Reconstruction of the existing field in the synthetic turf and the adaptation of the same for the performance of football to 11 and 8, providing for the supply of the necessary accessories in the service of the two disciplines;
– Construction of the irrigation system at the service of the new field;
– Relamping of the field area;
– Increasing the energy efficiency of the block, changing rooms, existing by means of demolition and reconstruction;
– 1 tennis Padel.
